v1.4 build 26 — Exercise now lives only on its own Home tile: it no longer appears as a genre inside Vintage TV, and its shows aren't counted there. The Exercise tile (and Continue) still open all 6 groups. Everything from build 25 (Vintage Media hub, profiles, watched / resume) is unchanged.

v1.4 build 25 — new Vintage Media tile right after Continue: Vintage TV, Vintage Movies, Vintage Cartoons, Old Time Radio, 308 Radio Station and the in-season Holiday row now live inside it (OK opens it, Back returns Home). Home tiles: (Continue) · Vintage Media · Live Radio Stations · Exercise · Weather & Local · Games · Profile. Section and radio headers use the new names, and Exercise / Wolfman Jack episodes show a short description. Profiles, watched / resume progress and everything from build 24 are unchanged.

v1.4 build 24 — new Weather & Local tile for Scottsbluff / Gering (National Weather Service): current conditions, local time with sunrise / sunset, next 12 hours, 7-day forecast, detailed forecast, active alerts for Scotts Bluff County and a radar loop (Cheyenne, North Platte, Northern Rockies, US). Left / Right = Now · Radar · Forecast · Alerts; Up / Down = change radar / scroll / next alert; OK = refresh (on Radar: pause / play); Back = Home (radio keeps playing). Everything from build 23 is unchanged. Home tiles: (Continue) · Old Time Radio · 308 Radio Station · (Holiday) · Live Radio · Vintage TV · Movies · Cartoons · Weather & Local · Games · Profile. To go back: install build 23.

v1.4 build 23 — new Games tile with Donut Dash (arrows move, OK starts / pauses, Back leaves the game). Starting a game stops any radio or video. Everything from build 22 (profiles, shared watched / resume, screensaver-proof audio) is unchanged. Home tiles: (Continue) · Old Time Radio · 308 Radio Station · (Holiday) · Live Radio · Vintage TV · Movies · Cartoons · Games · Profile

v1.4 build 14 — fixes the build 13 main-menu freeze (all catalogs now load and parse off the UI thread; Old Time Radio loads a small show index and each show's episodes on demand). Year / season menus with Parts for long shows. Audio Theater removed. Home tiles: (Continue) · 308 Radio Station · (Holiday) · Live Radio · Old Time Radio · Vintage TV · Movies · Cartoons

New in v1.4 build 7 — same content as the web player

The home tiles, Live Radio stations and the 308 Radio Station lineup now come from shared files on the shop portal (/apps/media/shared/), the same files the new 308 Media web player reads. Update them once and both follow. The channel keeps a built-in copy in case the portal can't be reached.

v1.4 build 6 — new logo

A retro gold "308 MEDIA" logo with a vintage microphone replaces the plain title on the home screen, the yellow line under it is gone so the tiles sit higher, and the channel icon and splash screen use the new logo.

v1.4 build 5 — video playback fix

TV shows, movies and cartoons now play through a brand-new video player created for each video (the setup that worked in the build 4 video test), and audio goes back to its own hidden player. The Video test tile is gone from home.

v1.4 build 4 — clean tile home + video test

Home is now a simple grid of big picture tiles (4 across). Each tile opens the familiar genre-first screens: Old Time Radio, Vintage TV and Movies open their genre lists, Live Radio opens the city list, Cartoons opens the Cartoons genre. A Continue tile appears only when something is part-played. The temporary Video test tile (last) runs sample videos and the Andy Griffith episode through several playback setups; if one stalls, photograph the diagnostics panel.

v1.4 build 3 — Netflix-style home (replaced in build 4)

The main menu is now a home screen of poster rows with a large preview of whatever is highlighted. Rows: Continue Listening & Watching (only when something is part-played; OK resumes right away), On the Air (308 Radio Station + holiday sections), Live Radio (4 cities), Featured Shows (10 standout OTR shows, changes daily), Old Time Radio (genres + All), Vintage TV (7 shows + All), Movies (8 features, changes daily, + All), a new Cartoons row (Superman, Popeye, Gulliver's Travels, Mr. Bug + All Cartoons), and Audio Theater. Title-card art comes from the shop portal; if it can't load, a plain 308 title card shows instead. Back from any screen you opened from home returns to the same spot on home.

Video fix: the app now uses one player for audio and video (the old second, hidden player was holding Roku's single video decoder, so videos sat at “buffering 100%”). The 308 Radio Station now-playing screen also shows correctly again.

New in v1.4 build 2 — video playback fix

Vintage TV, Movies and Audio Theater video now play on their own full-screen video player, with Roku's built-in controls (OK = pause, left/right = skip, a progress bar and a buffering spinner). Audio still uses the hidden player that already worked. While a video starts, a “Loading video…” card shows the seconds elapsed, the player state and the buffering percent. If a video hasn't started after 20 seconds, or it fails, an on-screen panel shows the player state, error code, message and URL instead of a silent black screen. Back stops and returns to the list.

New in v1.4 build 1

Audio Theater gets played marks only (its server doesn’t support seeking). Episode titles cleaned up and air dates filled from filenames. Nine new public-domain shows: Frontier Town, Hawk Larabee, Luke Slaughter of Tombstone (Westerns); Fibber McGee and Molly, Mail Call (Comedy & Variety); Magic Island, The Adventures of Frank Merriwell (Kids & Serials); The Voyage of the Scarlet Queen, Adventures by Morse (Adventure).
